To provide a forum for members to exchange ideas, study and understand laws, regulations and case law pertaining to the protection of the rights of animal owners, including agricultural animals, to continue to own animals and protect their health and welfare, the defense of veterinarians accused of malpractice; to monitor legislation relating to animal health, animal welfare and veterinary practice; publish informational brochures on legal issues pertaining to animal ownership; and hold seminars and lectures on such issues.
