    Good afternoon Family Law Section members,

    Do you need credits to fulfill MCLE requirements before the end of the year? On Dec. 27 and 28, you have three programs that can definitely help you catch up.

    Persuasive Storytelling and Presentation Skills for Lawyers
    Wednesday, Dec. 27 - 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. - Online
    Learn how to engage your audience by giving the case story a dynamic narrative, and how to tell the story between the words by improving vocal inflection and body language. With concepts drawn from years in professional acting and public speaking, David Mann will share the secrets of powerful, engaging presentations that can apply to openings, closings, mediations, arbitrations, depositions, witness preparation, witness interrogation, oral arguments, or prospective client interviews.

    • Use plain language instead of legal jargon;

    PA CLE:    PA Substantive Credit: 5.0
    $20.00 fee – payment is required for PA CLE credits, and can be made when checking out or submitting your CLE form

    The tuition for NJSBA members is $199. The general tuition is $235.

    Avoiding Disorder: Robert’s Rules for Lawyers
    Thursday, Dec. 28 - 12 to 2 p.m. - Online
    Robert’s Rules is more than just a handy guide for running meetings. It is a powerful tool to impose discipline and structure for your business and your clients’ operations. The program will help you advise your client and give businesses and organizations guidance and clarification on how to govern and operate responsibly and effectively. We will discuss recent updates that address ratifying decisions, electronic meetings, vacancies, and late elections. We will also address how helping clients properly run meetings and prepare minutes using Robert’s Rules fits into an attorney’s professional responsibilities.
