Good morning Family Law Section members,

NJICLE will present a host of history, diversity and movie CLEs this December to help you get those end of the year CLE credits!!

On Monday, Dec. 11, NJICLE will present Theodore Roosevelt and the Progressive Era – A 2023 Look from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Online.

Join us as Theodore Roosevelt is brought to life by actor-historian Peyton Dixon.

The legislation conceived and adopted during the progressive era changed the paradigm of American Liberty and Democracy. The conception of a Democratic Republican form of government held by those who drafted the constitution of 1787 underwent a fundamental shift after the Civil War. Roosevelt was one of the principal spokespersons of that shift. Some would even say that he was the leader of the Progressive movement.

Poignant film vignettes will serve as the catalyst for interactive discussion among a roundtable of experienced practitioners that will help to shine a light on the harm of implicit bias, both for individuals and the organizations in which they serve.
