NJSBA President Susan Feeney testified before the Assembly Judiciary Committee on March 8 in opposition to A763, a bill that would increase filing fees to fund Legal Services of New Jersey and the Judiciary's computerized court information system. The NJSBA feels the state budget should provide adequate funding to meet the essential needs of both the Judiciary and Legal Services of New Jersey, without instituting a user tax on individuals who have a constitutional right to seek justice through our court system. President Feeney's testimony and a question and answer session can be found on the recording from 1:21:12 to 1:44:45.
