    Hello Family Law Section members,

On Friday, Sept. 27, NJICLE will present the following Webinar: An LGBTQ Inclusive Workplace: What You Can do as an Attorney – and Why from 9:30 to 11:10 a.m.

Successful firms are inclusive firms. Statistics demonstrate that inclusive businesses are generally more successful than businesses that don't practice inclusiveness. They attract a larger pool of talent, keep talented people longer so there are fewer recruiting and training costs, and foster innovation and creativity. Further, the NJ RPC's prohibit conduct that is discriminatory and ABA Model Rule 8.4g, which was adopted by many states, adds "gender identity" to the list of prohibited bases for discrimination.

Join Celeste Fiore, the Immediate Past Chair of the LGBT Rights Section and long-time LGBTQ educator and activist, as Celeste discusses steps that attorneys and firm staff can take in creating an LGBTQ inclusive workplace. Celeste will provide you with a cultural and legal background that will help you understand the issues and the language of the LGBTQ community. One of the few non-binary legal professionals, Celeste will share their unique insights and also answer your questions candidly and directly.

Don't miss this opportunity to improve your firm's productivity and profitability. Register now for this important and timely program.
