9 a.m. to 12:35 p.m.Family Law practice can be an ethical minefield. Cases are often highly emotional, and family law attorneys often find themselves targets of ethics complaints from disgruntled clients and their former spouses.
This program will help you protect yourself and protect your clients from ethical errors. Register today to hear experienced and knowledgeable faculty explore the common and frequent ethical problems that arise in matrimonial practice and provide practical solutions for addressing them. The speakers will review the latest ethics opinions and cases affecting your practice. They will also discuss the pro-active procedures that all family lawyers should set in place - from client intake to handling modifications and post-trial matters, to ensure that you avoid ethical problems.
