Good afternoon Family Law Section members,
On
Wednesday, April 7, NJICLE in cooperation with the NJSBA Cannabis Law Special Committee will present
Webcast- 3rd Annual Cannabis Symposium from
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.Cannabis Law continues to evolve. New Jersey has gone from legalizing medical marijuana in 2019 to legalizing adult use marijuana in November 2020 waiting and waiting for a Bill to be signed into law in 2021.
To keep abreast with the latest developments in this evolving area of law, NJICLE’s 3rd Annual Cannabis Law Symposium offers attendees the opportunity to explore cutting-edge issues relating to the
gauntlet of federal, state and local laws and regulations that are pertinent to employment law, criminal law, and family law and more. This year’s Symposium will address the anticipated licensing process for licenses that will be available under the new adult use/ recreational cannabis market developed under the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory, Enforcement Assistance, and Marketplace Modernization Act. In addition, the Symposium will include an in depth review the latest developments in hemp law. Plus, this year the Symposium includes a special presentation on economic equity in cannabis and the economic equity compliance program.
We are virtual this year! Be sure to register, so that you can keep up to date and learn from some of NJ experienced attorneys who are dealing with cannabis law on so many levels.
