Good afternoon Family Law Section members,

On Saturday, March 20, NJICLE in cooperation with the NJSBA LGBT Rights Section will present Webcast- 2021 LGBTQ Rights Annual Update from 9 a.m. to 12:35 p.m.

"Continuing to Advance LGBTQ+ Equality Under the Law and Access to Justice: Legal Updates, Practice Pointers, and Elimination of Bias Tools"

No matter what area of law you practice, you are encountering members of the LGBTQ community. You cannot provide superior representation to LGBTQ clients unless you understand their needs and perspectives, and how the interplay between sexual orientation and gender identity can impact a client's access to justice.

The 2021 LGBTQ Rights Annual Update will explore impact litigation brought to advance civil rights in the LGBTQ community, identify anomalies in the existing law and how to address them, and expand cultural competency in terms of sexual orientation and gender identity diversity. You will learn about significant cases and legislative developments, along with important updates that touch on a range of practice areas, cutting-edge best practices, diversity-inclusive practice tips and elimination of bias tools.

Register today for the 2021 LGBTQ Rights Annual Update to gain invaluable information to advance equality under the law and access to justice for LGBTQ individuals and families.
