    Who we are looking for

    Here at Lawrence Law, we are a tight-knit, boutique law firm that works hard, laughs often, and genuinely has each other's backs. We are looking for someone to pull up a chair and join our team. If you are a sharp family law attorney who can hold their own in a courtroom and in a Friday afternoon snack debate, we would love to meet you.

    This is not your average law firm gig. We are a team that feels more like a second family; one that is also very good at what they do.

    What you will bring to the table

    •           Active NJ bar license – you're good to go in the Garden State
    •          At least 2 years of experience practicing family law (divorces, child custody, support, and everything in between)
    •          Strong communication skills – whether you're in front of a judge or explaining next steps to an anxious client
    •          A collaborative spirit – we succeed as a team, not separately
    •          A sense of humor – being able to share a laugh with your co-workers is genuinely a job requirement

    What a typical day looks like

    •         Handling a diverse caseload across divorce, child custody, support agreements, and related matters
    •          Drafting pleadings, motions, agreements, correspondences, and court filings
    •         Representing clients in court hearings and mediations
    •          Collaborating with teammates on strategy (and occasionally what to order for lunch)
    •          Keeping clients informed and supported through some of the most difficult moments in their lives
