A local organization is planning a day to help immigrants in the community and is looking for volunteers to provide legal consultations. The NJSBA has partnered with IACO in the past and volunteers have helped many get pointed in the right direction to address the challenges they face. More details are below, as is a link to a google form to volunteer. They are seeking volunteers who practice in family, criminal, municipal, landlord/tenant and labor and employment. Feel free to share this with your personal networks.

The Immigrant and American Citizenship Organization (IACO) holds its Immigrant Integration Conference every year. This year, it will be Saturday, October 15th, 2022, at the Center City Mall, located at 301 Main Street, in Paterson, NJ.
As in previous years, organizers would like to collaborate with the New Jersey State Bar Association to offer legal consultations, free of charge.
The legal consultations will be provided in person between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 pm. Attorneys will have the option to volunteer their time from 1 to 3 hours. Below is a registration link where the interested attorneys can register.
