HI all. I'm not sure I successfully posted a message here a few minutes ago so my apologies if this is a duplicate:
I recently had a consultation on a dog custody case. My client's ex-boyfriend changed the dog's microchip registration (from her name to his) and took the dog to Guam without her consent. The dog had lived with her before they moved in together and after the break-up, but she allowed him overnight visitation and trusted him. She is currently in Florida at college but permanent residence is NJ, as was boyfriend before he absconded with the dog.
She has limited funds, and I am concerned about the expense to serve/enforce. Is anyone willing to help with pro bono or discounted rates? I already discounted mine by 25%. THANKS!
