In order to protect your clients, you need to know and understand the implications of a bankruptcy filing on support and property settlements, and how the type and timing of a bankruptcy filing can impact proceedings in the family part. This new seminar will provide an overview of bankruptcy basics and provides advice for attorneys on how to best counsel clients and structure settlements proactively in anticipation of a possible filing.
