  • 1.  UK pension/retirement asset distribution

    Posted 10-04-2018 01:54 PM

Our client and her ex-husband have a number of retirement assets in the UK.  The ex-husband does not want to take the route whereby we value the UK assets and offset them against US retirement assets, which is what we have done in the past in other cases.  We prefer not to file a motion to resolve this.  Is anyone aware of any individuals/firms in the UK that handle the dividing of retirement assets pursuant to a judgment of divorce?  Firms here in the US say they can't help.

    Thank you.

    Amy
