Does anyone have any comments/reviews on a treatise, published by Wolters Kluwer, called "Psychological Experts in Divorce Actions," by Ackerman, Kane, Gould and Dale?

 

It looks like it would be very helpful in my DCPP practice, but it's expensive ($339).  I don't need anymore bling for my bookshelf.

I saw it in two judges' chambers ten + years ago, one in Mercer and one in Burlington, and was told it was "the source."  I've cited it many times.  Yes, it's overly expensive (tell me they wouldn't sell more than 10x the amount if it was 10% of the price??).  I haven't bought the updates.  

I also haven't seen it in judge's chambers lately; I don't know how much weight it now pulls.  I can't really say whether it's worth the money today; there's so much just on Google at this point.  I'd be interested in hearing what others think - and whether there's another treatise that's "the source" at this point?

Attached is a book review of another treatise, Cross Examining Experts In The Behavioral Sciences,  written before the recent promulgation of DSM-5; current price unknown. Two loose-leaf volumes, published by West.
