We were just successful in getting the Court to amend a caption system wide, including in the USO system to change a transgender client's name so that they system now reflects her current legal name - not the name under which the divorce was filed. We felt this to be very important for possible future enforcement action through the Probation system and to assure the client that if and when there are any wage garnishments or enforcement actions, those actions are in the current legal name and cause no confusion. We are happy to discuss this with anyone with a client in a similar circumstance.
