Hello Family Law Section members,
On
Wednesday, Nov. 7, NJICLE in cooperation with the Elder and Disability Law Section will present
The Medical Side of Elder Law from
9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the
New Jersey Law Center.Navigating the health care and insurance system can be frustrating, confusing, and difficult. Aging clients and their families often turn to their attorneys to guide them as they deal with chronic and acute illness as well as declining capability. As a result, lawyers need knowledge of the medical side of elder law to complement the related practice areas which deal with financial planning, benefits, and relationships, such as trusts & estates, Medicaid eligibility, and family law.
This seminar will provide you with the information you need to ensure that you can help your clients protect their physical and financial well-being. Seasoned elder law attorneys will take you through some of the most common needs and pressing legal issues - as well as the latest updates in law and procedure.
