I have a client, a single mother who will be on a out-of-state work assignment for several months, and her brother will be taking care of her 2 children. What is the fastest way for her to give him the legal authority for the children. Does he have to file an FD motion, or can they execute some type of power of attorney/temporary guardianship document?
