If any one has a few moments free this morning, and has experience negotiating surrogacy contracts, I would very much like to speak with you this morning.  I have a young man coming in today who wishes to father a child naturally through donor egg and gestational surrogate.  He has already made contact with a surrogacy agency.  I have already done some research on the issue, but would definitely benefit from a conversation with one of you.  Thanks for your help.

Frankly, I would suggest you select one of the NJ members of the American Academy of Assisted Reproductive Technology attorneys to co-counsel with.  The potential liabilities for messing up the legal work is huge - and it could impact the parentage of the child.

Sorry if I sound preachy, but I learned and was mentored in my entry into this field and I am glad I did.  Knowing the medical, legal and psychological issues is essential.  Knowing the ethics of the field is essential.

This is not beginner's territory, no matter how sincere.  I find it disturbing that lawyers are slapping on their websites that they do ART work with no background, training or study.
