Did you know…
• Many Fortune 500 companies & state and federal agencies operate supplier diversity
programs.
• Hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue is generated every year for diverse businesses.
• You don’t have to be part of a diverse firm to take advantage of these programs.
• There are only 3 law firms in New Jersey that are currently eligible to benefit from supplier
diversity programs.
• Fortune 500 companies like to use certified minority and women owned firms and their
partner firms because their legal fees are not as high as the big, national firms.
The seminar consists of two parts. In Part I, representatives of entities that have supplier diversity programs will offer specifics about the programs, how to apply for them and the rules surrounding what it takes to be certified.
In Part II, you’ll pick up practical advice from certified firms that take advantage of the supplier diversity opportunities. They will disclose their experience with the various supplier diversity programs and the factors that contribute to success as an MWOLF.
