  • 1.  Step-parent adoption/native american biological parent

    Hi all, 

    I was wondering if anyone has done a step parent adoption where the estranged biological parent consents but is also Native American.  The child was not registered as Native American but the biological parent was.  The biological parent consents but I am not sure if there will be any issues since that parent is a registered Native American. 

    Any guidance is appreciated!
