I need to serve motion papers on someone who resides in Jordan.  To the best of my understanding there is no way to mail via certified mail the documents.  Can they be served via email without a specific Court Order?

    Jeff -
<x-tab>        </x-tab>I have essentially the same issue pending. Ex H stopped paying child support and moved to Bahrain, where he plays in a Jazz band. Enforcement motion send to his US address was returned (both RRR and regular mail), so, since it's all public record / publicly filed, I'll share it -

<x-tab>        </x-tab><x-tab>        </x-tab>1. Withdrew the motion as there was service issue - http://www.dpdlaw.com/Moore_LetterWithdrawMotion.pdf

<x-tab>        </x-tab><x-tab>        </x-tab>2. Filed new motion seeking that electronic service be considered valid and explaining background - http://www.dpdlaw.com/Moore_ServeMtnElectronic.pdf

<x-tab>        </x-tab><x-tab>        </x-tab>3. Included letter brief on the issue and recent case law on it - http://www.dpdlaw.com/MooreLtrBriefElecSvs.pdf

<x-tab>        </x-tab>We don't have a decision yet. It's unopposed, so hopefully we'll have one next Friday. I'll keep you posted.
