I have a guy on my team that lives in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, but has a child support order from Solano County California. His paychecks are being deducted and money sent to MD, but CA never gets it.
Now he is having trouble getting a Passport.
Do you know of a good attorney that specializes in this type of issue and can work in MD & CA?

<x-tab> </x-tab>I had a similar case once where NJ was sending funds to Michigan under a NJ CS account. Ex Wife had filed a new CS complaint in Michigan and, for years, Husband's wages were garnished in NJ, but Michigan wasn't crediting it (since NJ was acting on its order, not the Michigan order). They would seize his tax refunds, levy on his accounts, etc. He would provide the proof that he was paying (through the NJ CS account) and enforcement action would stop... for a while... until Michigan filed a renewed UIFSA request for enforcement (and his refunds were levied, etc). This went on for over a decade before he finally retained counsel and it got straightened out. Judge was unhappy with Wife, who knew damned well she was getting support and sat by while her ex's refunds were seized and accounts levied on based on a separate order she'd obtained in Michigan.
<x-tab> </x-tab>I have no idea if that's what is occurring here or not. My suspicion would be that something needs to be filed (a motion, since that's where it appears the order is out of) in California demanding an audit of their CS account and showing proof that the payments are in fact being made.
