i have a client who needs a Georgia matrimonial lawyer. He was married and lived here in NJ, the parties had a PSA that they signed and had notarized here in NJ and he continues to live here. The Wife paid the alimony that was required under the terms of the PSA for a number of years, as well as both parties complying with numerous provisions of that agreement. However, they never filed for divorce, the wife now lives in Georgia and has filed for divorce there. She seeks to set aside that PSA and seeks reimbursment from him. I think the case should be litigated here in NJ, but either way, he was served wtih a summons and complaint to appear n the case in Georgia and needs to respond to that case. The court is in Folton County. If anyone on this list could provide a referral, even if it is not in that county, I would appreciate it.
