    If a party changes her name, does she need to change the deed to her home?

    Does it have any effect to have the deed under her married name when she's resumed her maiden name?

    Not a problem. When she goes to sell the property,  the chain of title recitation in the deed will document the change of name by referencing the divorce decree.
