  • 1.  Quick case cite? Alimony not a replacement for equitable distribution

    Posted 08-29-2018 03:16 PM
I'm researching this, but in case anyone knows it off the top of their head:

Alimony cannot be ordered as a replacement for equitable distribution.

    ^Case citation for this?

"equitable distribution determinations are intended to be in addition to, and not as substitutes for, alimony awards," which are awarded to provide for the maintenance of the marital lifestyle post-dissolution. Steneken 183 N.J. at 299.
