Unchained At Last, a non-profit providing representation for people leaving arranged and forced marriages is seeking pro bono representation for a woman in a DV matter. The case is scheduled to be heard in Bergen on November 18. She has a TRO and this would be a final hearing. There is a companion divorce case, but unfortunately, the divorce attorney does not want to provide representation in the DV matter. The client has a significant amount of info about the DV incidents, outlined in her VAWA petition and a well stated DV complaint.
