I am writing to ask that you vote to restore TOM PROL to his position as Second Vice President of the NJSBA. Sometimes you simply have to do what is right.
Tom has been an active and industrious leader in the NJSBA. He spent thousands of hours in service to the Bar, including distinguished service on the Amicus Committee, service for six years as a Trustee and, until this past year when the Nominating Committee declined to automatically elevate him in the chairs based upon his temporary New York employment, service as an officer on the path to the NJSBA Presidency.
Tom's commitment to the NJSBA has been tireless and enduring, leading him to resign his temporary position in New York once the recent By-Law was adopted requiring primary practice in New Jersey. Moreover, Tom's commitment to the advancement of women, both within the NJSBA and without, cannot be questioned.
Tom has earned the position of Second Vice President and deserves the respect and support of the members of this Bar Association. PLEASE CAST YOUR VOTE FOR TOM PROL FOR SECOND VICE PRESIDENT.
