  • 1.  Philippines remarriage

I've had clients in the past ask for this (specifically in the Philippines it appears to be needed).

Is there a form or something? My inclination is to see if I can track his ex down and do a consent order, then have Case Management throw a gold seal on it. Perhaps judges have seen this? (I assume a cover letter with it would do it).

My lawyer from the Philippines says to me that I need:

A copy of the provision of law or statute applied to the divorce declaration, which states that the parties are free to marry another or the other marriage bond is serve, certified by the secretary of the legislature or of the office which officially is in custody of the original of the law or statute.

    Thanks,
