  • 1.  Parenting Coordinator

    Dear List Mates,

    I have an extremely acrimonious post-judgment custody case going on.  I represent mom and, unfortunately, for me, dad, is pro se.  I am moving to have him held in violation of litigant's rights, for a suspension of his parenting-time, for a best interest evaluation and other relief.  In the meantime, if dad's parenting-time is not discontinued while the evaluation is going on, are there any parenting coordinators who might be helpful in the meantime?

    And, I believe that no matter how my motion turns out, these people are going to need someone in the future to moderate their parenting time. 

    I have searched the internet and have been unsuccessful in finding anyone in NJ who does this specific thing (they mostly concentrate on mediation).  Are there any parenting coordinators out there anymore and, if so, does anyone know anyone who I might be able to propose to the judge.  Someone in the Somerset/Hunterdon area would be ideal but, at this point, I would be open to anyone.  Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

    Katherine, I am a trained Parent Coordinator through AFCC and I have been appointed as a P.C. by the Family Court judges in mostly Sussex County. My office is in Newton, NJ. My fees are $250 per hour. I recently completed advanced P.C. seminars through AFCC over four days in December 2018.
