FAMILY LAW ASSOCIATE WITH 1-3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE NEEDED
Ruvolo Law Group is looking for a new associate with 1-3 years of experience to join our thriving family law practice in Morristown. A family law clerkship is a bonus, but not a requirement. However, being a hard worker who can also be laid back and friendly is indeed a requirement. As is being a dog lover (we often have our furry friends in our office). Our firm offers a competitive salary, health, dental and vision insurance, a retirement plan and a low-key working environment. A qualified candidate would possess all of the following qualities:
- Genuine interest in family and matrimonial law
- Appreciation of the business of law (You don't need to completely understand it, but you do need to appreciate it.)
- Conscientious writer
- Attention to detail
- Interest in building your own book of business over time
- Organized
- Team player
- Ability to take ownership of projects and tasks delegated to you
- Trustworthy
- Sense of humor (Family law is stressful and we all need to laugh.)
- Confidence and/or the ability to fake confidence when needed
- Loves learning and understands that while a great deal of learning will take place on the job, CLE seminars and reading treatises and books in your "own time" are necessary to becoming a knowledgeable and successful attorney
- Warm personality who can assure clients and "talk them off the edge" when they need it the most.
- Lives within a reasonable commuting distance from our Morristown office
