Hello Family Law Section and Elder and Disability Law Section members,
The NJSBA is presenting a half-day CLE program that will explore the ethical and compliance issues which attorneys and executive and legislative branch state government staff face on a daily basis.
The NJSBA Town Hall Advocacy Program will be held at the Trenton War Memorial on Monday, March 9 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Click here for our flyer and registration form.
A trio of panels, featuring attorneys, judges, legislators and key Trenton decision-makers, will examine the administrative challenges and ethical requirements associated with lobby disclosure laws, campaign finance, including pay-to-play rules, and the ethical standards members of executive and legislative branches of government must follow. The program will also touch upon ethical obligations attorneys interacting with public officials and legislative staff must adhere to, and how the New Jersey Rules of Professional Conduct apply.
The NJSBA member fee is $15. The non-member fee is $40 and includes one year of NJSBA membership. If you know a non-member who would be interested, please share.
NJ CLE: 3.3 general credits (50 minute credit hour)
NY CLE: (transitional & non-transitional) 3.0 professional practice credits
PA CLE: 2.5 substantive credits pending ($12 check payable to NJICLE)
