    Dear Family Law Attorneys,

Thank you for taking the time to read this email. We wanted to let you know about an exciting new initiative hosted by the New Jersey Coalition to End Domestic Violence (NJCEDV) to help connect survivors of domestic violence with skilled, trauma-informed attorneys.  To help launch this project, we would like your feedback. Your participation in this survey in no way commits you to the project, though we do hope we spark your interest!

We know that access to legal representation for survivors of domestic violence is limited, and is often focused only on restraining order matters.  This is where the Legal Representation Project comes in. We want to balance the scales and connect survivors with trauma-informed attorneys, to provide representation for child support, custody, and/or visitation matters. Research shows that lawyers matter! Parties who have legal representation are significantly more likely to obtain comprehensive relief in restraining orders or family court matters.

This is where we need your input! Please complete this simple three-minute survey below to provide feedback on what incentives would motivate you to take on a case:

We will be following up soon with additional information about this project.  In the meanwhile, please feel free to contact myself or NJCEDV's Legal Representation Coordinator, Donna Bucaro, cc'd here, with any questions. Thank you for your time and consideration.  We look forward to talking with you soon.

    Best Regards,

    Deanna
