    I have a former client who has MS. She is being denied coverage by her husband's union to cover the balance of medication (total costs approximately $50,000/yr.) after payment by her drug plan through secondary insurance. The union claims they do not recognize the secondary insurance. Does anyone know someone who deals with denials of health insurance coverage?

    I have dealt with a similar situation. Did she COBRA or was it a divorce from bed and board. Social security has an 'extra help with medication ' program but there are income and asset limitations. Give me a call and I would be glad to help.
