Parties have shared 50/50 custody for several years. Dad announced he's getting remarried and all of a sudden they can't agree on what time of day it is (e.g., when and where to transfer kids, what holiday schedule should be, etc). Mom has called police and claimed kidnapping, etc. The current agreement just says "the parties will equally share legal and residential custody" -- no specifics of any kind (some lawyer never heard the phrase "good fences make good neighbors", I guess).
I'm doing a quick motion to either enact the proposed schedule dad is attaching (with a lot of detail on a parenting schedule), or, if the motion is opposed, to send them to mediation to set up a specific schedule.
Question -- I essentially never go to Monmouth (this was a "repeat custody" who didn't want to accept suggestion he get local counsel, especially in Monmouth). Does Monmouth offer the free mediation services at the couthouse that Mercer / Burlington / Middlesex do? It's a post-judgment case. If not, is there an inexpensive mediation service (doesn't need to be an attorney, just someone with experience with high-conflict post-judgment parenting issues).
Thanks,
