Yes, under applicable state law, assets such as vacation time and sick leave are marital or community property if acquired during the marriage.
The NYSBA Family Law Review Spring 2013 edition Vol. 45 No. 1 covered just this issue.
Their example takes gross pay divided by number of days of accrued leave. ie: $6,600 per month earned 45 days of accrued leave= $9,900 (45/30 x $6,600) before tax and other withholdings.

Is the vacation/leave pay a military member acquires during a marriage subject to equitable distribution?
