I have a divorce in Middlesex County. We have a fully executed MSA, and I've been told that you can get a divorce granted on the papers in Middlesex County. Does anyone know what I need to file? Thanks.

Yep! Aside from MSA, file certs signed and notarized from both sides. Certs should contain all declarations/testimonies the parties would make at a default/uncontested hearing. Hope this helps!

Was the divorce complaint already filed?  Then file Plaintiff's Certification in lieu of appearance/support of entry of FJOD and Defendant's Certification in support of entry of the FJOD.

We also include 3 originals of the FJOD, and one fully signed MSA.

Cover letter should ask for the divorce to be put through on the papers and for two gold seal copies of the signed and entered FJOD to be returned to the filing attorney. NOTE: Some judges in Middlesex won't do a put through on the papers.  Depends on the judge. So Call and ask ahead of time.

If no complaint has been filed and the MSA was done prior to anyone filing, then that's different and takes more steps.  You can call me. 609-683-7400
