Hello everyone,
I want to let you know that I have updated the email template to hopefully make it more clear that you have the option to:
1. Reply to the thread you are reading
2. Post a new message
Sometimes, section members will click "Reply" in a particular thread to start a new discussion. It's easy. You have a message and click reply. BUT, your email is on a different topic. You should be creating a new message/thread with a subject that will appear in the subject field.
In the email template, unnecessary buttons have been removed. I think that made it confusing to have so many options. AND, another Post a New Message item was added.
You can see these changes in the email you are receiving now. Post a New Message appears at the bottom and top of the email. The option for Post a New Message Online, will bring you to a website. Post a Message or Post a Message via Email will let you use your email application.
I hope this helps with creating new messages, as opposed to replying to an existing thread with a different topic.
