Has anyone heard of a mental health facility keeping a patient (child) for longer than necessary because the parents have good insurance?
A facility in California is threatening to bring my client up on criminal charges if she refuses to keep her bi-polar 12 year old daughter at the facility longer than the originally intended 30 days. She is very wary of their motives and afraid of what they will do if she tries to remove her daughter. Any thoughts?
My client wants to consult with a criminal defense lawyer in Los Angeles. Any recommendations?
