Good afternoon Family Law Section members,

The New Jersey State Bar Association is presenting a Leadership Series for members to help ease the hard work of learning new skills and provide tools that enable attorneys to be leaders in their firm, in their practice area and in their community. There are two more seminars coming up in the series.

Leadership Skills Series: Beyond the Buzzwords - The Whys and the Whats of D&I and the Legal Profession will be held on Thursday, Feb. 18 from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

This interactive program will take a close look at the state of diversity and inclusion efforts in the legal profession, both locally and nationally, and provide you with a toolkit – including implicit bias training -- for incorporating principles of diversity and inclusion into your leadership journey. We'll have some frank conversations about the culture of the profession, led by attorneys who know it well, and consider ways to effect lasting change.
