The New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education is presenting Key Topics in Federal Taxation: Foreign Bank Accounts and Tax Consequences of Divorce on Tuesday, June 14 from 9 a.m. to 12:35 p.m. at the New Jersey Law Center in New Brunswick.
• The course will cover various exemptions, deductions, filing status rules, taxation of alimony and child support, transfers of the marital home, tax credits for custodial and non-custodial parents, and collective impact on taxation to the family unit.
• The course will provide a general introduction to foreign financial accounts compliance requirements, penalty regime structure, related federal criminal law issues, and remedies for non-compliance.
NJ CLE information: This program has been approved by the Board on Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court of New Jersey for 4.0 hours of total CLE credit.
