The listserve was nice because you saw everyone's responses and didn't have to check into a forum to see.  On the other hand, the NJSBA webmaster was a little challenged and there were constant problems for a long time with the family listserve.  I was in listserve purgatory for about a year, nothing I posted ever made it, as well as other members.  Within the past few months they finally seemed to have it running well and now it's gone.  Are you familiar with the New Jersey Attorney's List?  It's another listserve, not just family law, and an invaluable resource, both legal and social.  In fact, we all have regional lunches and dinners.  A lot of the family members are on it, so you can get a family opinion there if you need it.
