JEDS - Request to Enter Default

  • 1.  JEDS - Request to Enter Default

    On JEDS, I am trying to file a Request to Enter Default for failure to respond to the complaint, but do not see that as a Document Type when filing on JEDS.  I do see an Application to Default Judgment [sic], but that comes later.  Is that where one files a Request to Enter Default as well as a proposed FJOD?

    A good starting point for that novel issue is Pathri v. Kakarlamath, 462 N.J. Super. 208 (App. Div. 2020), and the briefs submitted in that matter, which can be obtained from the attorneys or Appellate Division.
