I have a matter in which I need some advice on Italian law.  My understanding is that property in Italy passes automatically to descendants and that there is no such thing as a will.

The parties have agreed that the property in the Husband's name will go to their children.  I need to know the mechanics of how I can assure that this will occur.  He could remarry or sell the property, etc.

    Thanks

Larry, try Joe Alessi. He's mayor of No. Caldwell whom I believe owns property in Italia. Try him at town hall as he's just moved law  offices. Call me if you need more info.
