Hello everyone. Client has been separated from his wife for a couple years but it is an 18 year marriage. Wife has no assets to speak of (home is a rental and auto is a lease). She was the primary wage earner since he is on SSD. Just learned that she took the contents of her brokerage account last year which totaled $70,000 (months before Complaint filed) and after doing a bank search nothing turned up. Is there any other way to retrieve these funds other than the 25% wage garnishment or am I relegated to this approach? This is a Notice of ED and any insight would be greatly appreciated since she is in default, which was probably by design, and any thought of getting spousal support is a long shot based on the length of time it will take to repay the brokerage account funds. TIA
Eric
