Good afternoon colleagues,
I came across a relocation issue I haven't encountered before and I'm looking for some wisdom from the group. I represent the relocating/custodial parent who currently resides in New Jersey. The non-custodial parent resides in Virginia. My client would like to relocate to Georgia. My question is whether there is any case law saying a non-custodial parent who resides outside New Jersey cannot object to the custodial parent's relocation outside New Jersey.
I understand the facts about play in my clients favor on the merits as he will be moving closer to the non-custodial parent. Thanks.
