    Hello Family Law Section members,

On Wednesday, Aug. 16, NJICLE and the NJSBA Senior Lawyers Committee will present Immigration Law: What Every Attorney Should Know from 9 a.m. to 12:35 p.m. at Hampton Inn & Suites Vineland.

New Jersey has the third highest immigration population in the country (only New York & California are higher), and as of 2016, that population had increased by 30% since 2000. Our multi-national population in New Jersey demands that every attorney should have a basic understanding of immigration law concepts and practice. Immigration law touches many different areas of practice, including family and criminal law. Our half-day program is designed to give the practitioner a "bird's eye" view of current immigration law, including benefits and enforcement. Our program will help you spot issues to help you protect your clients and introduce you to multiple areas of collateral consequences of immigration law and procedure.

    FEATURING:
    Kerry Hartington, Esq.
Weiss, Hartington & King English LLC, Vineland
