  • 1.  Immigration Attorney

    Can anybody recommend a good immigration attorney in Northern New Jersey?  Preferably, the Bergen, Hudson and Essex areas.  I have a client who came here on a fiancé Visa.  The parties were married here and 7 months later the husband files for divorce.  The client would like to remain here.  I do not believe this was a sham marriage as the parties had a long-term relationship before the husband came to the United States.  Woman cannot even work here because her existing status does not permit that.

    I recently had a case with a client in the process of converting a green card. His immigration attorney was Taryn Pleva. She was great to work with as I needed to consult with her about language for the MSA on multiple occasions. Her email is below.
