    Mates,

Husband and wife have separated but wife will not give husband his immigration documents until he signs "divorce papers." Is the wife committing a crime? The husband is supposed to have these documents on him at all times, right? He faces serious consequences if he is stopped and doesn't have them?

    Thanks

I had a case where the court granted my motion to bifurcate so my client no longer needed his wife's cooperation. I recommend that you call Dan Weiss at (732) 780-7100.
