    Hello colleagues,

Trial scheduled for Monday morning on a relocation case.  Mom and kids are flying up from Florida and already have tickets which of course the court is aware of.  Court calls at 4pm to say they are adjourning because the Judge isn't available.  These are not the kind of people that can afford to lose the several hundred dollars in airfare.

I know we are short judges but....wtf.

We all know how you feel. I think of people wasting  judicial time . I sit on an ESP panel and unfortunately some litigants just don't want to resolve  the case , but want to vent and not resolve the issues.

    Ok here is my story...

I filed a PL Motion (Sussex County) on April 23, 2022 for support and other relief on behalf of a mother and a special needs severely handicapped child. The court adjourned the Motion twice over my written objections and finally heard the matter on June 28, 2022. I am still waiting for an Order for support which my client desperately needs. Four emails to chambers with responses saying we are backed up!!!

It is so embarrassing to our system of justice. I wish I could file an application in the United States District Court compelling the Superior Court Judge judge to rule on the matter.

    Frustrating beyond belief!!
