    Hello Family Law Section members,

    On Friday, Nov. 10, NJICLE in cooperation with the Family Law Section will present Hot Tips in Family Law Demystifying the Trial: Preparing for and proceeding to trial in matrimonial and domestic violence matters at the New Jersey Law Center from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

    Hot Tips in Family Law brings together 50 of the state's leading matrimonial attorneys and retired judges who utilize a unique and fast-paced format to share their knowledge and expertise, and provides the opportunity to hear from sitting family part judges.

    This year's program provides fresh perspectives and new takeaways about how to prepare for and try your family law cases. The program offers proven tactics from sophisticated practitioners for trial preparation, trial techniques, using discovery, using the Case Information Statement, what is and what is not hearsay, ethical implications of using social media, and tips for direct and cross examination of fact and expert witnesses, as well as trial techniques in domestic violence cases. This seminar will also have a panel focusing on techniques to be employed in alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
